5 Easy 30 Minute Exercises

Exercise is the key to a healthy heart. Regular exercise helps to keep cholesterol, blood pressure, and mental health at healthy levels. There are plenty of exercise options to do. Here are 5 easy 30 minute exercises that will get your heart going and keep you healthy.

6 Easy 30 Minute Exercises

1. P90X3

Tony Horton is one of the nation’s leading exercise instructor for at-home workouts. A couple years ago he came out with 3 month’s worth of easy 30-minute exercises that will challenge you, but not have you overdo it.

These videos include a warm-up and cool-down, so workout time is usually about 25 minutes. There are different levels you can choose and it’s made to help you build up to be stronger by the end.

They aren’t the least expensive option out there, but for what you get, it’s definitely worth it.

2. Fitness Blender

Fitness Blender is a YouTube channel that you can get for free that includes hundreds of exercise videos, incorporating all levels and targeted areas.

Even though it’s free, don’t think that it won’t be effective. Choose any 30-minute workout that they have and you’ll get your heart rate up and build muscle.

3. Gym Class

Many gyms offer free classes that you can try. Most of the classes are an hour long, but there are some that are shorter. You can also go for however long you’d like and leave if it gets to be too much.

Having an instructor guiding you and keeping up a certain pace can really make the difference in your workouts. Not everyone is the best self-motivator, so trying out classes helps you to find out what type of exercises are best for you.

4. At-Home Workout

You can easily use objects at home to do some easy 30 minute exercises and build up endurance, cardio, and muscle. While you watch tv, try doing squats, lunges, planks, sit-ups, and push-ups.

If you can, buy a few weights to have around so you can work your biceps and triceps more easily. If not, find an object like a gallon of milk to do a few sets. You will still feel it and you’ll save money. Just remember to put it back when you’re done!

Most people unwind after a long day by watching TV. Use that time to get fit, while enjoying your favorite show.

5. Get Outside

There are hundreds of options for outdoor exercise that can keep you in shape, help you lose weight, and keep your heart healthy. Getting outside also helps to clear your mind and let in natural light, smells, and sounds.

You can go on a walk, run, bike ride, hike, play soccer, or swim to name a few. These can be 100% tailored to your needs and goals and fitness level.

The key is to be sure to challenge yourself with whatever you do so that your heart rate is elevated and your body is burning fat.

Exercise is extremely beneficial to your body and mind and is recommended by any doctor or health professional you ask. Be sure to aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 times a week.

You will fight off high blood pressure and cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, and heart disease by being active.
