Keep track of your drinking. Cut yourself off when you’ve had more than the suggested amounts.
Try tapering off. If you’re a heavy drinker, suddenly not drinking at all can cause severe high blood pressure for a number of days. So, slowly decrease the amount you drink for a few weeks.
